My name is Batya, I'm the author of Israela. In it, I go beyond the black/white media reporting of the Middle East to portray the more human face of conflict-- by which I mean the devastating and long-lasting effects that terrorism and warfare have on everyday people like you and me. I'd love to hear from you, to get to know what your connection to Israel is, or to conflict. Would you be interested in a book that portrays the complexities, the loves, joys and the tragedies of Israel and the people that live there?.Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview. As for me, other than Israel and my longing for peace, my passions are theater, history, walking with my son's dog on the mountains, and reading.
